Are you an experienced, product and go-to-market leader with a technical background, with a passion for delivering world-class software products in a fast-paced environment? If so, Tricentis has an opening for you – we are hiring a Lead Product Manager in Vienna.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and backlog for TBox and related automation capabilities (desktop, web, SAP, APIs, mobile integration, AI/agentic automation).

  • Act as the committed product lead for one or more agile teams in Vienna; define epics and user stories and drive delivery from discovery through release.

  • Balance short-term needs (stability, performance, parity gaps) with longer-term bets (agentic execution, cloud-first and hybrid/on-prem execution models).

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, UX, and QA to design solutions that are technically feasible, scalable, and maintainable.

  • Define how TBox underpins Tosca Cloud and Agentic Test Automation (ATA), ensuring AI/agentic capabilities generate robust, reusable TBox-based tests.

  • Partner with platform and identity teams where needed (execution agents, cloud integration, hybrid/on-prem flows).

  • Engage regularly with customers, field teams, and partners to understand real-world automation scenarios and translate them into prioritised use cases and requirements.

  • Track competing automation approaches (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, UiPath, ACCELQ, UFT, open source) and ensure TBox maintains a differentiated position.

  • Work with Product Marketing and Sales Engineering on TBox positioning, messaging, and sales plays as part of the broader Tosca platform story.

  • Support go-to-market for key releases (enablement, demo scenarios, “what’s new/why it matters” content) and represent Tosca automation in executive and customer meetings.

  • Create alignment across Tosca Cloud, ATA/AI, test management, SAP solutions, and NeoLoad so automation investments are coherent and reused.

  • Provide mentoring and guidance to other PMs working near the automation stack and help uplift product discovery and decision-making across teams.

Qualifications – Must Have

  • 7+ years of Product Management (or closely related experience) in B2B enterprise software, including 3+ years owning significant product areas or teams.

  • Strong hands-on experience with test automation and/or quality engineering tools (e.g., Tosca, Selenium-based tools, Cypress, Playwright, UFT, RPA or similar frameworks) preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience with Windows client/server and desktop automation, plus familiarity with web and API automation, is highly preferred.

  • Solid understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and modern DevOps/QA practices (e.g., GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, cloud-native architectures).

  • Proven track record of defining strategy and roadmaps for complex technical products and successfully shipping improvements that deliver measurable customer value.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to work effectively with engineers, architects, executives, field teams, and customers.

  • Practical experience working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban), including writing epics/stories and partnering closely with engineering leaders.

  • Fluent English, written and spoken.

Qualifications – Nice to Have

  • Experience with Tricentis Tosca, TBox, or other model-based test automation approaches.

  • Background in automation for SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or other large enterprise applications.

  • Experience applying AI/ML or “agentic” automation to testing or quality engineering.

  • Experience with hybrid/on-prem plus cloud products, including migration and managed-service models.

  • Prior experience working in a global, multi-time-zone organisation across multiple R&D centres.

You can look forward to:

  • Flexible working schedule (no core hours)

  • Hybrid work environment

  • 25 days of paid time off

  • 2 days of paid Volunteering Leave per year to get involved in your local community or in a cause that matters to you

  • Meal allowance

  • Life & Disability Insurance

  • A team of passionate professionals who are experts in their fields

  • Events for employees to learn, celebrate and socialise (training sessions, hackathons, parties, sports events, board game gatherings, BBQs) and much more
